The Oil and Gas Industry's Role in the Climate Change Watch
Carbon capture and storage allows you to carry on pumping out carbon, but then capturing it afterwards. This is one of the big gripes of climate campaigners who say it's a false solution. The oil and gas companies love it because they can say, well, pair that with our existing operations. We don't need to switch to wind and solar. We'll just carry on pumping oil.
