The Benefits of Playing the Clavicord
There is no great way to approximate this sound, and every single clavicord recording I've ever heard is mic'd very differently. It's so small, but it's really truly wonderful within this small world. The reason that this was such a useful thing for instruments then, and today, is that because it's so delicate, it really develops your touch.
