A federal grand jury in Washington indicted Trump on four counts of conspiracy and obstruction related to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. The indictment references his knowing lies about election fraud, recruitment of fake electors in the swing states and obstruction of the electoral college vote certifications.
