The furor over their supposed fault for the recent pandemic is not that far from the racest presentation of asian Americans as carriers of incurable disease in the late nineteenth century. There has been a long and terrible history of antiAsian stereotypes in America. Myths and ignorance have overpowered the true history of asians inAmericas.
