I'm very very fortunate that I have the sort of collage of influences from all over the world really and later I mean I did not study American literature growing up but later after moving here I made it a point to read and study. about you know I wanted to read about other lives and other experiences and in fact I'm not particularly interested about reading about my own experience and and it was a gift.
