I think you're going to have to do spending caps across each department and then ultimately the Fed's going to end up monetizing a bunch of the debt. You could cut the bureaucracy enormously and streamline the government in all sorts of ways. It just it can't be that much of a priority, right? I was just reading our friend Kevin Williamson's piece about Ukraine. The best way for Ukraine to finally conquer its corruption problems is this existential crisis of nearly being destroyed by Russia. That gives people permission to simply scrap whole interest groups and coalitions in the name of this overriding priority kind of thing.
