The Pain of Rejection

Cognitive therapy is the idea that suffering only comes from our thoughts and beliefs not from what really happens. It's impossible for rejection ever to upset a human being, it's physiologically impossible because the only thing that could ever upset you is your own thoughts. And getting over that fear of being alone and that belief that you need other people is really one of the important keys to dating or overcoming the fear of rejection. You won't get so much rejection and when you do it won't face you in the same way.
