The Fulfillment of Old Aziah

Martin: Almost every saint that's a doctor of the church that you can read, you need some orientation to and some understanding about how they're going about what they're doing. The Fulfillment of Old Aziah is kind of like a gateway drug to reading the works of the saints. If after that, you really feel like you want to get into one of the saints yourself, I'd probably recommend Francis the Sales who wrote the first book of spirituality for Catholic laypeople.
