Art and Commerce - It's by Design

The biggest taboo in art is saying that you want to make money. It's interesting because I say to a lot of artists, what happens to your work when it goes to the gallery? You know, like it gets sold for what? Money. And as soon as an artist talks about money, they're considered unpured, not sophisticated artists. If you're successful commercially, it gives you the freedom and space to be more ambitious creatively. Like those things go hand in hand.
