Dudley Clark was already running a top secret deception operation in North Africa. He had mock-up aircraft, gliders that they were parking on airstrips. They even had actors in airborne uniforms wandering around Cairo and elsewhere. Maine is arguably the most highly decorated British Army soldier from World War II. But he won't be portrayed in a way which isn't justified by his actions.
