Radium Two, 23 for Thyroid Cancer?

The radium to 23, are otherwise known as zophigo, was approved in 20 13 after demonstrated an overall survival benefit compared to plasibo. The thyrod takes up iodine because it uses iodine to make thyrod harmon and we can take advantage of that for treating some thyro cancers. They both localize to areas of bone turnover. So we take advantage of these to help treat bony metatses that may be painful.
