Thomas Aquinas says that the natural world is not everything. And yet, it is the warping wolf of what the world that we live in. In his famous account of the natural law, Thomas talks about three ends to which human beings are directed. That perfection of our reason bifurcated to two different ends: knowing God and perpetuating ourselves as a species.
