Is Your Journal a Journal for the Authors or the Readers?

The journal was launched in 19 51 to be a medium for the prompt publication of articles dealing with the structure, function and pathology of the nervous system. The late dave jack benton asked is your journal a journal for the authors or the readers? And i it is my decision that it had to be both. If you don't get the best papers, you won't have the best journal. But if you don't have the largest leadership, nobody will notice you have a journal.
