A child who rejects compliments, verbal appreciation or praises of effort. Do you have suggestions for reinforcement for a child who rejects complimenting them? I think what would be very important to look at there is why they are rejecting the social reinforces. And maybe to think about whether there are other ways that you can acknowledge their behavior.
