I wasn't thinking much about it at all. I think halfway through my freshman year, I decided that the goal I wanted to shoot for was becoming a musician. But part of that was a response to finding when I got to college that Harvard was essentially vocational school for investment banking and management consulting. So they do an extraordinarily good job of finding interesting, unique people in high school and then turning them into boring, high achieving technocrats. That's kind of a tragedy for the world.
