i think it's the biggest, most important thing for a writer to learn, is to be able to sit with he discomfort. Like my family, we have, um, i gro up with herding dogs, like collies and sheltes,. And these animals are brilliant and profoundly neurotic. Noi ha had a darling boarder, collye, who died last year. I loved her so much. When i'm out and about with people, they call me the border colly because, you know, if i'm leading a retreat somewhere, i know where all 15 people are, and i know that margaret's wandered that way.
