The Big Help Out: A Public Engagement Campaign
The big help out is a night of TV that was about the giving of time rather than money. And it's interesting how it's marketed in this particular initiative, the big help out doesn't actually mention volunteering at all. So I think the reality is from what we've seen on the day troughs in is that different people are attracted to different things. Within scouting alone, we have trustees of our 8000 charities that are all available roles. We've also got people who are scout leaders there's probably about 90,000 of those who turn up on the front line and help deliver the program each week. Also 30,000 who were involved in volunteer management roles, line managing other other volunteers
