What Happened in Jonestown?
In jonestown, most of the people doinghrd were doing hard labor in the fields. Jim warned everybody that the c i a had sent infiltrators into jonestown and that anybody could be a spy. He said that he was sending out spies of his own to go among the people to speak negatively about him. And if they didn't report you, you'd report them. Complaining about jonestown was an attack on community morale. In many ways, it was more dangerous than attacking the community with weapons. For the good of the community, it couldn't be allowed to spread. Young children who misbehaved or complained would sometimes be lowered down dark well. There
