Cancer and Mutational Signatures

Researchers sequence genomes of 100,000 NHS patients all across the UK. They were able to identify genetic patterns that have a role in causing cancer. Researchers say these are kind of like fingerprints at a crime scene. There's still a lot of work to be done to find even more mutations.
