Managed Funds Are More Complex Than ETFs
Many managed funds will invest in assets that are usually out of reach for retail investors. By buying a portion of a managed fund, you can get access to an alternative asset class. Managed funds are more expensive than ETFs because they have a whole team of researchers behind them. But the benefit of having a fund manager is that you don't have to do any of the hard work of identifying and tracking potentially high performing companies.
