The EAP can't do anything about what's actually causing people to access the service. And in many instances, the EAP doesn't even have a way of reporting that back to the organization. The EAP is a wonderful short-term solution focused counseling support. It's wonderful for that purpose but when you're getting someone who's quite unwell needing that really good recovery partner,.
