I grew up in a black church, our theology was evangelicalism in blackface. I'm clear that penal substitution or atonement is trash. We have to resist those things. Now is not the time for doubt and mystery and wonder around certain things. we need to get really, really clear about who we are,. what we are and where we're going. The Maggots thing is a revival movement of its own accord. It's pulling back to a to a future that is oppressive right now.
