get-up is widely portrayed in the media as being a left-wing organisation. But it wasn't set up to be beholden to any party political agenda. Its actions arise from a set of values, and it seeks to act powerfully taking into account whatever the political context is. And the context-facing get-up in late 2015 was this: The government was only in its first term in office, and it was unlikely to be defeated at the next election.
