The Right Wing Attacks on Trans Kids
In November the Christian right legal advocacy organization called Alliance Defending Freedom. Helped these like two sets of Wisconsin parents file a lawsuit against their school district over its policy on recognizing trans students. Their case was essentially that the school's policy of respecting kids pronouns violated their foundational right to raise their children as they see fit. So ultimately the school said that it couldn't use trans kids preferred pronouns and this resulted in a few trans kids being pulled from the schools as it was no longer a safe environment.
