The Other Side of Difference
Jamal was first put in the back of a paddy wagon when he was nine years old. He's grown up in this environment where every time a police car goes past, he fears that he may be targeted. I mean, that must be absolutely suffocating. It's living with a constant sense of dread. And it's something i still feel when i am in liverpool - which is where i grow up. A lot of it for me as is centred in that space.
