Is the Turner Deal a Big Deal?
The leagues have been in business with Disney and Turner for 20 years. They're not going to just hand over giant rights to even the biggest bidders unless they feel completely comfortable. I think what Warner Brothers is hoping is that the NBA will stay with them for less money. But if Netflix and Amazon and Apple get into this, it does it. It's not a cost thing because they can always outbid.
