The C O Two Scrubbers in the Command Mado

Apollo 13 was the first mission to land on the moon in 1969. Three crew members were trapped inside a cabin, unable to get air out of scrubbers. The team at mission control had no time to come up with an alternative solution. They used ducket tape and some fly plumbing to re-route air flow from the spacecraft into a canister that could be inserted back into the space environment. But it took 60 personnel six months to design and build new adapter for the lemb system.
