The Importance of Self-Defense

Barry had apparently stopped taking his meds around the time I first encountered him. Barry's sister indicated that he would occasionally fixate on a single person and this person was usually a stranger in a position of power. Out of all the things I saw and dealt with in my career what occurred in those few months involving Barry have stuck with me ever since. His death made me a better cop, believe it or not. The citizens I interacted with weren't always happy with my decisions but it kept people safe and that's all that mattered to me at the end of the day.
