How to Evaluate Pretest Probability in Patients With Acute Coronary Syndromes

The hear score is a variation on the well-known heart score without the troponin component. Patients get scores between 0 to 2 for each of their symptom characteristics, ECG findings, age and combinations of risk factors. A low risk clinical gestalt combined with a non-aschemic ECG was about 95% sensitive for ruling out myocardial infarction.
