I think in the world at large, people do think that AGI is more of a realistic proposition now than they did like five or 10 years ago. I realized that there are a lot of synergies between different threads of research and it's going to hit us faster than a lot of people expect. The concept of AI safety is certainly much more mainstream now. A lot of that mainstream though is still with respect to sort of very near term narrow systems. But the concept of AGI itself is also becoming more mainstream.
