Opportunity Did Not Come Back
opportunity lost a power because of a long dust storm that blocked access to the sun. The solar panels couldn't keep it warm, so it just froze there on the planet and never came back after the dust storm. These dust storms are pretty common on mars. So this dust storm was bad for opportunity, but it was a good opportunity to learn more about how a these storms interact with the martian atmosphere.
