The fast foodification of universities is the way in which an education has become a product that you purchase. In order to produce this product universities have to standardize and make sure that their product is on par with all the other products that are being produced. Even though we are seeing more and more adjunct faculty who are being paid very little, tuition is still going up because schools when they become businesses want to make profit.
