What's the Antonine Plague?
In the 160s something has gone awry in london. with procurement chains bringing in timber rafting it down river into the 150s 160s 165 dendradating for some temple architecture and you then have to wait 15 20 years to start seeing people bringing newly felled timbers in to build. There is no proof anybody died of that plague because the dead are still largely being cremated we don't have plague pitsWe don't have the evidence so i can say that some people were scared of plague and many houses were left empty and people may have run away it's not having a major influence on the course of roman history but it was antonine plague interesting
