The outlook for investing in European assets, which have recently outperformed the US, also looks to be more interesting. One central bank that has looked increasingly hawkish is the ECB responding to inflation data that continues to surprise to the upside. We do think the risks are actually in the former camp that the ECB will actually hike to levels that we could not have imagined even a year ago.
