The Importance of Taking the Inland Route
If you like your vintage Americana, this is the road trip for you. You're not going to see the coast until you get all the way up to Washington. In California, highway 99 mostly is still intact and it's even a freeway in some places. But once you get into Oregon and Washington, because of the mountains, it starts getting a little bit tricky.
