Before salvation, corneus was described as devout god. Even the angel even told him that his prayers had been sent up as a memorial before god. So clearly, cornelius was pleasing god. Thos s john, the baptists baptized and repented, they please god as well. How would you then respond to those who use romans eight and say that the person without the natural, man, without the spirit, can't please god?
