The Hidden Spring of Consciousness
Mark O'Mara: I owe more to yack than any other scientist, alive or dead. We met shortly after he published affectiv neural science which was basically a landmark achievement. The problem is twofold, and i'm putting it very simply for anor. A cortical vision is the best known, best understood aspect of consciousness. Ad also, it dominates, territorially, takes up more cortical territory than anything else. And so that's been our focus.
