Is There a Difference Between a Waine Grotam and John Piper?

There were certain teachers i still think back and just have learned so much from them. Other teachers that i didn't find as particularly helpful. One con was this mind set that everybody else doesn't quite get it, everybody else is on a slippery slope. The most kind of gentle guy would just saturate himself in biblical scripture. I remember one of the students, i mean, i Think i was very strongly complimentary in my theology. And for those of you who don't know, i'm basically, i'd like to do a lot more research on that question. But i think i am on the fence about whether or not i should go into seminary.
