The History of Dark Matter

Andrew Ponson: Dark matter makes very specific predictions the way that dark matter over time pulls things around and just gently tugs galaxies until they're in what we call a cosmic web. He says physicists make bets based on how certain it's going to be discovered within their lifetime, but he doesn't do betting. "I think maybe 10 years ago, if you'd asked me, I would have said, yeah, it'd be discovered in 10 years time"
