The Mitochondria
Sodium is shot into the cell. Hydrogen gets pushed back out into the filtrate. Now that means that allows us to increase the amount of acid we pay out because we know hydrogen ions are what create a acidic environment. Do you know where that hydrogen ion was created from? Stars. All our atoms are created by stars. Mitochondria make energy. For that pump. The ATPase pump. And I think that's where all the mitochondria are located, right at the basal surface. Yeah. So heaps of mitochondria creating heaps of ATP for the ATPase pumps. There's a byproduct, what the mitochondria produce every time they produce ATP? Carbon
