What Is Rainbow Capitalism and What Do We Do About It?

i like to think about the way in which capitalism does impact our relationships beyond just, you know, ownership. There's so many economic incentives to not just be married, but to also appear coupled,. And monogamous, you know it'. It's that facade of carrying and, again, capitalizing on us. Rainbow capitalism is like the appropriation of queer culture in order to sell us things from companies that do not necessarily have our best interest in mind. I'll give you an example: every time june hits right its pride month target, all these giant corporations will put out a bunch of mirch plastered with rainbow flags - they're often not designed by queers. But what happens
