Love Charms - A History of Love Magic
Love charms are one of humankind's oldest forms of magic. Mary was given a love potion by Cranston, but it turned out to be arsenic. She tried to get rid of the powder, but her servant managed to save part of it. The authorities were called and she went on trial for murder. Was hanged in 1752 - just a year after Cranston had died from his poison.
