The Cry of Dereliction in the Incarnation

In the incarnation itself, there are directions that once we start thinking about it in these ways, make it a lot less self-evidently obvious that the cross is where Jesus offers himself to the Father. One reason that I think we can conclude for certain that God has accepted the sacrifice is that Jesus didn't get forced out in the heavenly holy of holies when he showed up and was invited to sit at God's right hand.
