The Psychology of Surveillance
The meaning of concept of surveillance and denial of privacy is that no one can be trusted. Privacy is not legitimate. Surveillance is an ancient imperative. We have a society essentially under central control in the United States since just before the Civil War. Such a society requires compulsory schooling, government monopoly schooling to maintain itself. The person that's been conditioned all the way down to being responsive to the system that makes the best consumer. That's what you want. You want consumers.
