Coaching skills is about your ability to help the other articulate what their goals are. It's not so much that you're a coach as that you're using coaching skills to manage. There are times when the manage ment style you are going to need, or the management approach is going to be more directive. In a hunt, this is a situation where this person needs some coaching. Is this a situation, or is this an area where coaching is warranted?
