The FBI's Role in Protecting King's Sex Life

In the 1960s, Hoover was feeding a rumor mill about King's extramarital affairs. No one would run these stories even though Hoover was doing his best to get the press interested in it. But we now know that certain summary reports from these surveillance operations are now declassified on the internet. If they are true, again, a big if, then we have to say that Martin Luther King was more than just a bad husband. He was a sexual predator who really kind of crossed the line.
