Is Torture Repellent?

If you have a certain view that says that torture is repellent, one should never do it. Is monstrous. A, and that's an absolute principle one holds - then you may choose to demonize people who argue in favour of torture. And rather than engage with them because you want em, you want to make their views, and to make those those people repellent. But the consequences of that position are even more repellent if you actually follow it to the letter. It is somewhat analogous to this abortion example. If you look at the details, you can easily find a situation where you would be a moral monster to not have recourse to that. In fact, situations
