The Importance of Politeness in Wrestling
I've often wondered what would happen if you took like a high level Greco-Roman wrestler who had similar but different techniques and put him in Sumo. If it would be, if you'd kind of have maybe like a hoist Gracie in the Octagon moment because he wouldn't be observing the traditional Japanese Sumo niceties. Well, here again, I'm speculating outside of my depth. But knowing how conscientious the Japanese culture is about observing the forms and staying within sort of the levels of politeness, might still be winning. And there's been a number of examples of North Americans or even Europeans who've gone into Sumo as well.
