Why Is the Medical Industry So Powerful?

There's been two Senate inquiries into the broken, dysfunctional, bullying system. The medical governing systems in Australia have never had a royal commission. Is it because their lobby is too powerful? Because I've seen this in the banking industry, my game. And there's no point going against the banks because they're so powerful.
