Demolition Man came out in 1993 and was a response to this decline of the action hero. I just think there was something about these 80s and 90s action stars. They dedicated their lives to doing action and you very rarely saw them doing something that wasn't an action movie. You know, like someone like Jeremy Renner or all the different types of chrises that are out there, they're just not on the same plane as Schwarzenegger or Stallone.
